What is the purpose of the Next Steps?

God has an incredible purpose for your life, and the Next Steps is designed to help you connect with that purpose. In the Next Steps, you will learn what it looks like to follow Jesus, connect to the church, discover your purpose and then make a difference with your life.

Next Step 1 is your avenue to becoming a part of the Frayo family and to joining one of our many volunteer teams.

How does the Next Steps work?

The Next Steps is comprised of three specifically designed classes – with classes happening every term. Each class helps you take a step towards God’s plan of fulfillment for your life.

Classes are defined as “steps”, with each step happening during a term. For example: Step 1 & 2 happens every March & September, Steps 1& 3 every June. Once step 1 is completed, you are ready to join one of our many volunteer teams at Frayo Fellowship. Once all three steps are completed, if selected, you will join our secondary school outreach team.

Next Step 1 (Discipleship) 

This 10-week class is designed to give you foundational biblical truths that will empower your walk with Christ. Some of the lessons are the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Your Identity in Christ, How to Receive Healing and How to be Led by the Holy Spirit.

Next Step 2 (Servanthood)

This 10-week class will teach you the importance of serving, how and where you should serve and the benefits it will add to your life. Jesus said, “Greatest is the servant in the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Next Step 3 (Leadership)

In this 12-week class, you will learn biblical and practical ways to lead yourself and others. These lessons will help you improve your leadership skills and build your CV.
